The new Little Ant and Dec were revealed on tonight's episode of Saturday Night Takeaway, the first of the 20th series. The cheeky duo were introduced to the viewers and social media is buzzing with reactions to them.

In the second part of the show, the two young lads from the North East, aged five and six, were brought out to applause from the crowd. Both Little Ant and Little Dec came smashing through the wall at the back of the stage and ran over to the lads for a big hug.

Little Ant immediately had a dig at 'big' Ant's appearance, commenting on his forehead and laughing when he heard the audience react. Little Dec laughed along with his older doppelganger, as Ant was then playfully pushed by his cheeky copy.

On X, @elliott_gonzalez said: "This new Little Ant and Dec are pure chaos and I love it. #SaturdayNightTakeaway." Another user, @xemmaslifestyle said: "The new Little Ant and Dec are so cheeky." @amymariee98 added: "Omg loving the new episode of the Series! #SaturdayNightTakeaway. New Little Ant and Dec are so cute!"

After this, the two boys were made to recount their promise, to be as cheeky as possible when they are meeting with celebs. They were then given their first mission, to meet up with two movie stars; Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley, as they promote their new film, 'Wicked Little Letters.'

This interview with the two Hollywood stars will be broadcast on next week's show, so tune in to ITV then to see how the two cheeky chappies got on.

Little Ant and Dec were the breakout stars of Saturday Night Takeaway when it made its debut in 2003. The first Little Ant and Dec became an instant hit when they joined Ant and Dec in the first series of Takeaway, with James Pallister and Dylan McKenna-Redshaw the first boys to get the job, James playing Ant and Dylan being Dec.

They were given the opportunity to interview some very high profile guests including Tony Blair, Will Smith, Katie Price, David Beckham and music legend Diana Ross, who they serenaded with a version of Geordie anthem Fog on the Tyne.
