In a rematch of last season's semi-final, won 19-6 by the Chiefs at Hamilton, these two rivals have again started the new campaign successfully and hope to build on that momentum during 'Super Round'.

The Chiefs opened their account with a gritty win over the champion Crusaders, avenging their defeat in last year's final, while the Brumbies dispatched hapless Melbourne Rebels 30-3.
