Kia ora, good evening and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the Super Rugby Pacific game between Queensland Reds and the Chiefs at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium.

Entering this round, the Chiefs were one of three unbeaten teams - along with the Blues and Hurricaes - after defeating the champion Crusaders and Aussie top dogs ACT Brumbies to open their campaign.

With all the changes among the NZ franchises, with veteran players heading offshore and coaches joining Scott Robertson's new All Blacks staff, they are the most settled outfit in the competition and have shown that so far.

The Reds had an important derby win over NSW Waratahs in their season-opener and forced the Hurricanes into extra time last week, before conceding the winning try. They have shown they are dangerous to anyone with their guard down.

Join us at 9:30pm for kickoff.

TAB Odds: Chief $1.22, Reds $4.60, Draw $21
