A well-known Apple tipster is back with yet another hard-to-believe report. He claims that the iPhone 16 Pro could get a new, very weird-looking camera bump. That likely won’t happen, based on everything we’ve seen, but there’s always a chance.

Majin Bu claims to get new information from different sources, and that both of those sources said the same thing. A change to the design of the camera island is expected.

He claims that the design will be more similar to a razor. His sources said that the camera bump will have the shape of a triangle, which will allow more cameras to be added to the camera module in the future.

Majin Bu once again says that this is not verified information. He did promise to deliver more info if he gets any. For demonstration purposes, you can see the iPhone 16 Pro with a triangle-shaped camera bump on the back. This is just a concept.

Needless to say, this doesn’t look pretty. Well, neither did the current setup on the iPhone Pro models back when it leaked, but users got used to it. Some of them even started to love the stovetop design.

This change is rather unlikely, at least for this year’s models

Having said that, this change is unlikely for the iPhone 16 Pro series. We’ve seen a ton of rumors and reports regarding those phones up to this point, and pretty much all of them said that the design will remain pretty much the same.

The iPhone 16 Pro will get a Tetraprism camera from the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but in terms of the design of the actual cameras on the back, things won’t change all that much. So, as I said, there’s a slight chance that Majin Bu is right, but even he is not sure of this so… chances are it’s not happening.
